ICGC DACO 2025 Annual Report
The ICGC Data Access Compliance Office (DACO) Annual Report highlights a year of continued growth, global engagement, and responsible governance of controlled cancer genomics data.
To November 30 2025, over 5,500 new applications submitted by scientists from more than 38 countries have been reviewed by the DACO in the past 15 years.
The report presents key statistics and insights into DACO’s operations, illustrating how its centralised, ethical, and transparent access framework supports international research collaboration while protecting participant privacy. Together, these outcomes demonstrate DACO’s ongoing role in enabling trusted data sharing across the global cancer research community.
