ICGC DACO 2025 Annual Report
The ICGC DACO highlights a year of continued growth, global engagement, and responsible governance of controlled cancer genomics data.
The International Cancer Genome Consortium's Data Access Compliance Office (DACO) has released its 2025 Annual Report, marking fifteen years at the forefront of responsible cancer genomics data governance. Since its establishment, DACO has reviewed more than 5,500 applications from scientists across 38 countries.
The report presents key statistics and insights into DACO’s operations, through to November 2025, illustrating how its centralised, ethical, and transparent access framework supports international research collaboration while protecting participant privacy. Together, these outcomes demonstrate DACO’s ongoing role in enabling trusted data sharing across the global cancer research community.
