ICGC-ARGO is committed to ensuring the highest levels of research integrity and ethical behaviour and believes effective Community Engagement to be fundamental to achieving this. Towards this goal the Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement Working Group (PPIE) has started to develop a suite of resources focused on engaging the patient and broader communities. Our first set is titled “what is Genomics?” which introduces Genomics and what it means for cancer patients.
On the page you will find an informational Brochure titled “Genomics: Getting the right treatment to the right patient” and an animated video delving into why genomics is changing the way we care for cancer patients.
Our resources here were developed with input from a range of stakeholders, including patients, consumers, clinicians and researchers.
